I’d love to be able to use Twitter as a mechanism to share public information but also be able to tag that information and associated with arbitrary things. You can insert #tags to today into tweets but that gets messy if you want to tag things with internal Ids. It would be neat if there were a way to apply my own idea against those tweets and the retrieve them later turning Twitter into a giant public database. Given the Chirp conference is this week, I thought I would post this random idea but I do think some sort of tag and retrieval system would be great, if you could put that tag outside of the tweet. Just a random thought for the day.
